US Open 2026 Tennis: Full Schedule, Results, Tickets and How to Watch

I don’t have to worry about people sitting in front of me during a great match, WhatsApping with their friends, and talking about fixing up their backyard (yes, this happened). I felt funny last year – I thought it was because many of my favorite players had retired or were about to but I realize this year it’s more the crowded… Read more » The stress on the honey deuces and the noise (‘loudest stadium in tennis’) just seems to encourage people to go wild. The vibes are off; the USTA doesn’t seem to do enough to curb the madness and bad behavior of the people being comped tickets while greedily letting resale markets go nuts without caps and releasing more and more grounds passes just crowding the grounds. I was in Grandstand in 2025 and this year to see practices and I like that venue. People invested in expensive tickets for tomorrow’s special session (as have I for years) with the rational expectation they wouldn’t deviate from the traditional schedule with 2 men’s R16 matches. He ends 2026 with two majors, having also won the https://best-tennis-coaching.com/ French Open in June, and 23 major match wins in the season, the most by a German man.  https://junior-tennis-camps.com/  handed Alexander Zverev the top seeding, and Zverev made it count. Frances Tiafoe reaches a career high of No. 8. Would those represent the prices you would be charged from the American Express presale? I attended last Thursday’s day session, overpaying for resale tickets. Agree that  it’s a great move going forward. The issue is simply that many people spent large amounts of money on Armstrong with the expectation of 2 men’s matches. They have sold an increasingly large number of ground passes and they are aware the prices people have paid. I saw the schedule and see that there’s a mens 4th round singles on Grandstand tomorrow?

  • He must vary his serving locations, use the left-handed slice to pull Zverev off the court and attack before the German can settle into extended baseline exchanges.
  • Coco Gauff enters New York fresh off winning Cincinnati and owns a 20-7 career record at the US Open, including the 2023 title.
  • Zverev is attempting to add a second Grand Slam title to his breakthrough French Open triumph, while Shelton carries American hopes into the biggest match of his career.
  • Alexander Zverev and Ben Shelton will collide in the 2026 US Open men’s singles final on Sunday, September 13, at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
  • He also finished runner-up at Wimbledon and has now reached the semifinals at all four Grand Slam tournaments this season.

Hi PJ, I have the exact same scenario for tomorrow—high up tickets in Ashe for the day session but after the Iga-Qinwen first match I would rather be in Armstrong. Assuming you’re solo, you should have no problem. Hey Josh, I conferred with my friend Tom who’s on site today and has a ton of experience with Armstrong (and has contributed a ton of insihgts to this blog over the years).

Shelton’s Fearless Run Captures New York

I was in NYC and ended up attending the NY Yankees felicitating Derek Jeter that evening during a game with TB Rays. There are tickets for sale for $400 courtside for the mens semis when there were higher than that at times for grounds passes during the first week. Who knows, maybe they will let people down to the lower bowl if the seats are empty! If ever there was a time to see a Men’s Semi-Final (abd Womens DOubles final) it is the Friday day session. Grounds Admission tickets usually get issued at some point over the summer for Finals Weekend (Fri-Sun Sep 11-13) on Ticketmaster. If you’re a serious fan — especially a doubles player — this is a day not to be missed. You can check your bag at the US Open before you enter the grounds. It’s only a 9-minute cab ride — or take the Q48 public bus to the “Roosevelt Av/Willets Pt” stop (around 30 minutes). After a night session, be ready for long waits and heavy surge pricing — thousands of people will be trying to do the same. Check the practice schedule here (or on the US Open App) the night before and the morning of your day at the Open.
